The Anglican churches of St. Mary's Wedmore, Christ Church Theale and Holy Trinity Blackford are friendly and welcoming places.
All three churches have active Sunday schools for young people and are served by two clergy and a Lay Reader.

St. Mary's, Wedmore
The church of St Mary Magdalene stands in a raised position up from the centre of the village. It is considered by many to be the rival to North Curry for the title of 'Cathedral of the Moors'. Rebuilt several times since the time of King Alfred the present church was built in the 14-1500s. There are slight traces left of an earlier church (c 1200) and of some decorated work (c 1300).
First sunday of the month at 6pm there is Start the Week, a time of quiet prayer and contemplation.
There is also a very successful Coffee Shop run in the Lady Chapel on the first Saturday of every month except August.

Bagley Baptist Church
We are a warm, friendly church, providing support, ministry, praise and worship. At Son Seekers we welcome children to bible-teaching, games and activities, in small caring groups.
