I.T. for the Terrified

is a training centre with a difference.  It provides informal training, either on designated courses or one-to-one sessions, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.  It is managed and run by volunteers, and prices can therefore be kept low.  We pride ourselves on providing a high quality training, aimed at fulfilling the needs of each individual.

Our courses include basic and intermediate computing, how to use e-Bay, photo manipulation, and genealogy.  We have volunteer trainers who can help you with computer basics, digital cameras, internet and e-mail, word processing and spreadsheets, creating flyers and promotional materials, and web design.  If you want to learn how to do something, we'll do our best to find you a trainer who can help you - whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced IT user with a specific IT problem.  If you already have these skills, perhaps you'd like to be a trainer?

If you are interested, give us a ring, e-mail us, or just pop in to the Centre, so that we can discuss your requirements.

offers drop-in Internet Access for all.
